Marlow

Historical home to lauded local outlaws.

Our story is Oklahoma’s story.

Marlow got its start from the famed Chisholm Trail, which crossed through the area. It was named for the Dr. Williamson Marlow family, whose run-ins and escape from less-than-honest lawmen led to local fame and legends. Unlike many other small Oklahoma towns that have an oil industry presence, Marlow’s oil exports are secondary to many agricultural products, like peanuts, beef, milo, and wheat. While some of Marlow’s residents may work in Duncan, the community atmosphere keeps its citizens coming back home.
