The Monks of Forest Park
The Monastery at Forest Lake is a beautiful wedding chapel and B&B on 14 acres of gently rolling, tree-covered hills. However, its colorful history began as the country house of former Oklahoma governor Robert S. Kerr. Then in the early 1980s it became a monastery for 10 unorthodox orthodox monks who were also the Forest Park Fire and Rescue, bread bakers, experts in hatching and raising ostriches, and more! This week on LoyalTV, join us in Oklahoma City for an egg-citing tale and a look at the monks' uniquely entrepreneurial spirit.
